Regulamin konkursu “Backbase + Polish Java User Group”

Zasady konkursu

  1. Organizatorami konkursu są Backbase Poland sp. z o.o z siedzibą w Krakowie, ul. Skałeczna 2, dalej zwane jako “Backbase” oraz organizacja Polish Java User Group, dalej zwane jako “PJUG”.
  2. Sponsorami nagród jest Backbase oraz PJUG.
  3. Konkurs organizowany jest przy okazji wirtualnej prelekcji realizowanych przez organizację PJUG: “PJUG Online – jak pokochać TestContainers oraz jak śledzić problemy w aplikacji” dalej zwanych jako “PJUG Online”.
  4. Celem konkursu jest poszerzanie wiedzy z zakresu tworzenia oprogramowania komputerowego.

Nagroda w konkursie

  1. Osoba, która zajmie pierwsze miejsce w konkursie otrzyma wytypowaną przez zwycięzcę licencję na oprogramowanie firmy JetBrains, sponsorowaną przez PJUG.
  2. Nagrodami w konkursie jest 100 $ (słownie: sto dolarów), które zostanie rozdysponowane kolejno w kwocie 60$ (słownie: sześćdziesiąt dolarów amerykańskich) dla osoby, która zajmie w konkursie drugie miejsce oraz 40$ (słownie: czterdzieści dolarów amerykańskich), dla osoby, która zajmie w konkursie trzecie miejsce.

Udział w konkursie

  1. Konkurs odbędzie się dnia 27.05.2021 o godzinie 18:00 a zakończy się dnia 27.05.2020 z końcem wydarzenia, ale nie później niż o godzinie 23:00.
  2. Uczestnikiem konkursu może być każda osoba fizyczna, pełnoletnia, która weźmie udział w wydarzeniu “PJUG Online”.
  3. Aby wziąć udział w konkursie, należy wziąć udział w wydarzeniu organizowanym przez organizacje PJUG, “PJUG Online” dnia 27.05.2021 za pośrednictwem platformy Zoom, do której dostęp zostanie przyznany w dniu wydarzenia po uprzednim zarejestrowaniu się poprzez platformę Meetup.com.
  4. Organizator wydarzenia nie wymaga żadnej dodatkowej deklaracji udziału w konkursie. 

Zasady i przebieg konkursu

  1. Na zakończenie spotkania “PJUG Online”, organizator zaprezentuje za pomocą platformy https://www.sli.do/ kilka pytań związanych z tematyką tworzenia oprogramowania oraz tematami samych prelekcji “PJUG Online”.
  2. Pytania jednokrotnego wyboru.
  3. W wyłonieniu zwycięzców brane pod uwagę będą zarówno poprawnie wytypowane odpowiedzi jak i szybkość udzielenia poprawnej odpowiedzi.
  4. Zwycięzcy konkursu zostaną opublikowani zaraz po zakończeniu jego trwania na platformie https://www.sli.do/.
  5. Przekazanie nagrody – zwycięzca kontaktuje się z organizatorami konkursu obecnymi podczas “PJUG Online” za pośrednictwem Zoom.  
  6. Zwycięzcy konkursu wskażą organizatorom konkursu pozycje, które chcieliby otrzymać w ramach nagrody. 
  7. W konkursie nie mogą wziąć udziału osoby bezpośrednio zaangażowane w jego organizację. 
  8. Nagroda jest imienna i nie można jej sprzedać, oddać ani przekazać innej osobie w żadnej formie. 
  9. Nagroda nie może być wymieniona na inną formę ani na ekwiwalent pieniężny.

Postanowienia końcowe

  1. Uczestnikom konkursu przysługuje prawo do jego reklamacji, czyli jego organizacji, przebiegu lub wyłonienia jego zwycięzców. Reklamacje należy zgłaszać [email protected] oraz [email protected] w terminie do 7 dni od zakończenia konkursu. 
  2. Organizator konkursu nie przetwarza żadnych dodatkowych danych osobowych uczestników konkursu poza danymi udostępnionymi drogą rejestracji na wydarzenie.
  3. Organizator konkursu zastrzega sobie prawo do zmiany zasad przyznawania nagród w trakcie jego trwania. 

Competition regulations “Backbase + Polish Java User Group”

General information

  1. The organizers of the competition are Backbase Poland sp. z .o.o,  Krakow, Skałeczna 2 st, hereinafter referred to as “Backbase” and the Polish Java User Group, hereinafter referred to as “PJUG”.
  2.  Sponsors of the awards are Backbase and PJUG.
  3. The competition is held on the occasion of the virtual lectures created by the PJUG organization: “PJUG Online – how to love TestContainers and how to track problems in the application”, hereinafter referred to as “PJUG Online”.
  4. The aim of the competition is to broaden the knowledge of computer software development.

Awards in the competition

  1. The first place winner of the competition receives a JetBrains license sponsored by PJUG.
  2. The prizes of the total amount of $ 100 (say: one hundred dollars), will be distributed respectively in the amount of $ 60 (say: sixty US dollars) for the person who takes the second place and $ 40 (say: forty US dollars) for the person who takes the third place in the competition.

Participation in the competition

  1. The competition is held on 27/05/2021 at 18:00 and finishes on 27/05/2020 at the end of the event, but no later than at 23:00.
  2. Any natural person of legal age who takes part in the “PJUG Online” event can participate in the competition.
  3. To take part in the competition, you must participate in the event organized by PJUG organizations, “PJUG Online” on May 27, 2021 via the Zoom platform, access to which will be granted on the day of the event after registering through the Meetup.com platform.
  4. The organizer of the event does not require any additional declaration of participation in the competition.

Competition’s rules

  1. At the end of the “PJUG Online” meeting, the organizer presents a few questions about software development and the topics of the “PJUG Online” lectures via the https://www.sli.do/ platform.
  2. Single-choice questions.
  3. Both correctly selected answers and the speed of giving the correct answer is taken into account in selecting the winners.
  4. The winners of the competition are announced immediately after its end on the platform https://www.sli.do/.
  5. Handing over the prizes – the winner contacts the competition organizers present at the “PJUG Online” via Zoom.
  6. The winners of the competition indicate to the competition organizers the items they would like to receive as part of the prize.
  7. The competition is not open to people directly involved in its organization.
  8. The prize is personal and may not be sold, given or transferred to another person in any form.
  9. The prize cannot be exchanged for any other form or for a cash equivalent.

Final provisions

  1. Participants of the competition have the right to make a complaint, i.e. its organization, course or selection of its winners. Complaints should be submitted to [email protected] and [email protected] within 7 days from the end of the competition.
  2. The competition organizer does not process any additional personal data of the competition participants, apart from the data provided at the registration for the event.
  3. The organizer of the competition reserves the right to change the rules for awarding prizes during the competition.
