With a full-fledged microservices-based application, internal PaaS and Continuous Delivery, Base gives you the opportunity to build a high scale  distributed system that is used by thousand of people every day.

As a Java Software Engineer you will play a key role in shaping the Java stack at Base, being responsible for the design, development and deployment of the new code to production. This can range from implementing rich web experiences to designing and developing APIs used by all of our interfaces.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent command of Java and OOP techniques
  • Expert in Java related tools and frameworks
  • Passionate about delivering high quality code
  • Driven to constantly develope and learn new things, e.g. non-Java technologies run on JVM.

 

SKILLS THAT ARE NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in working with complex, distributed systems and scalable, highly available architectures
  • Experience in developing  microservices
  • Experience with JavaScript and happy to work with modern fronted technologies
  • Familiar with Continuous Integration and a fan of Continuous Delivery
  • Commits to open source projects
  • You know your way around UNIX system
